Priorities & Strategic Action
1. Maintain the Best Look and Feel of Hastings Street
· Advocate for on-going investment in streetscape enhancements, cleanliness, and beautification.
· Work closely with Noosa Council to ensure high-quality landscaping, lighting and infrastructure.
· Engage with stakeholders on initiatives to maintain Hastings Street’s unique character.
2. Advocate for Members with key stakeholders
· Represent the interests of members in discussions with Noosa Council and other key stakeholders.
· Ensure consultation on precinct issues, inc. events, parking, traffic flow, and safety.
· Facilitate open communication between businesses and decision-makers.
3. Support Businesses through Activity & Engagement
· Drive visitation through targeted activations and event collaborations.
· Provide members with business intelligence, including accommodation forward booking data.
· Enhance the Hastings St Staff Perks scheme to attract and retain employees.
4. Manage the Governance of the Association
· Ensure compliance with governance best practices, financial and reporting.
· Maintain transparency and accountability through regular member updates.
· Foster a strong and engaged committee to drive the association’s objectives.
5. Engage with key stakeholders
· Participate in broader Noosa destination discussions to align with regional economic & tourism goals.
6. Manage the Hastings Street Levies
· Ensure levy funds are managed effectively and directed toward initiatives that benefit all members.
· Advocate for fair and sustainable levy contributions that align with precinct priorities.
Implementation & Review
This strategic plan will be reviewed annually after the AGM to ensure its alignment with member needs and evolving precinct dynamics. The Hastings Street Association will engage members regularly to assess progress and refine priorities where necessary.
